Effective Date: July 21, 2026 | Last Updated: July 21, 2026

My Mental Health University® ("MyMHU," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of the mental health professionals, clergy, coaches, and community members who use our online continuing education platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have regarding your information.

1. WHO WE ARE

MyMHU is an NBCC-approved continuing education provider (ACEP #7739) operated by Life Revisions Counseling, LLC, located at 6400 Baltimore National Pike, Suite 170A #311, Catonsville, MD 21228. You may reach us at [email protected] or (410) 870-5615.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect only the information necessary to deliver our courses, issue CE certificates, and communicate with you about your account.

Information you provide directly: name, email address, password, professional credentials (license type, license number, state) for CE certificate purposes, payment information processed through our third-party processor (Stripe), and any communications you send us.

Information collected automatically: course completion data, quiz responses, IP address, browser type, device information, and page views. We use cookies to keep you logged in and improve platform performance.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information to provide access to purchased courses, issue CE certificates that meet NBCC requirements, process payments, send administrative and course-related communications, respond to your questions, comply with legal and NBCC record-keeping obligations, and improve our courses based on aggregated learner data.

4. WHEN WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with these categories of parties as needed to operate our platform: Thinkific (learning management platform), Stripe (payment processor), Encharge (email service, only if you opt in to marketing), NBCC (for CE reporting when required), and legal authorities (when required by subpoena, court order, or applicable law).

5. DATA RETENTION

We retain CE completion records for the period required by NBCC (currently five years) so we can provide certificate duplicates if you request them. Account and payment information is retained for the duration of your account plus any period required by tax or accounting law.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to access the information we hold about you, request corrections, request deletion of information not required for CE or legal compliance, opt out of marketing emails, and request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].

7. COOKIES

We use cookies to keep you signed in and improve site performance. You may adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, but this may limit platform functionality.

8. SECURITY

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No system connected to the internet is entirely secure. Please use a strong password and log out of shared devices.

9. CHILDREN

Our platform is intended for adult professionals and community members. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where changes are material, notify you by email or through your account.
